Ingredients
- 900 grams cauliflower
- 450 grams potatoes
- 450 grams green peas
- 1 chopped onions
- 4 sliced onions
- 4 tablespoons ghee
- ghee for deep frying
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron
- 2 tablespoons curd
- 2 tablespoons coriander seeds
- 25 mm. (1″) piece ginger
- 12 cloves
- 16 Kashmiri chillies
Instructions
- Cut the vegetables into big pieces.
- Fry the sliced onions in ghee until light brown in clour.
- Make a separate paste of the fried onions.
- Heat the ghee in a vessel and fry the chopped onions for a little time. Add the chilli paste and fry again for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and 3 teacups of water.
- Cover and cook the vegetable until they are soft.
- Add the onion paste and salt.
- Mix the saffron in curds and crush lightly. Add to the vegetable and cook for 1 minute.
- Serve hot.
