Cookies 
Super Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Ingredients used :
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 2 cups vegan brown sugar
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 cup vanilla vegan soymilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet vegan chocolate chips
Preparetions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease
cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together shortening and vegan sugar until light
and fluffy. Add applesauce and soy milk, stirring well. In a separate
bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, then
gradually stir into creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the rolled oats
and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie
sheets.
Bake for 12-15 minutes in oven. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to
wire rack to cool completely.
